What makes Glory Bound Tattoo different than other local tattoo shops?

We at Glory Bound Tattoo strive to do the best we can on each and every tattoo.  At some other tattoo shops you may feel as if you are unwelcome or the tattooers seem put off to even talk to you.  We do our best to make a welcoming fun atmosphere.  We were also voted #1 shop in the KC metro for 2011 and our owner Jimmy Kuder III was voted top 3 artists in the KC metro for 2013 & 2014 in The Pitch.

How can I make an appointment?

There are several different ways to get in touch with our artists.  Fastest is usually just to give the shop a call @ 816-600-5106.  If the artist you want is not there just leave a message and they will get back with you.  You can also stop in and talk to an artist.  Some of our artists will even be more than happy to talk to you threw email or Facebook, though that sometimes is a little slower process.   All appointments require a minimum of a non-refundable $40 deposit. Consultations are always free.

Do you take walk ins?

We try to be as accommodating as possible.  Larger work usually takes quite a bit of time to draw up so would need to make an appointment, but smaller stuff we can usually try and fit in for walk-ins.  You just aren’t guaranteed a certain artist for walk-ins.

How much will my tattoo cost?

Without an exact design it is near impossible for us to tell you an amount.  That’s like asking how much is a house or a car is.  They can all be so different.

Our minimum is $80 and goes up from there.  Our hourly rate for large scale will depend on each artist which can be from $100 to $150 per hour.  So depending on how long it ultimately takes.

How should I prepare for getting my tattoo?

Make sure you eat a good meal before hand and drink lots of water.  Make sure you wear appropriate clothing so that the area that is getting tattooed on will be easily exposed.  We can’t guarantee that we won’t get ink on your clothes so you might not wear your best duds.

What do I need to bring with me?

The most important thing that you will need is your Government Issued I.D.(drivers license, military I.D., passports, etc..).  For larger tattoos you may want to bring stuff to entertain yourself such as headphones, tablets, e-readers, etc.   We do allow you to bring back one friend into the station while you are getting tattooed so feel free, but if you do bring your whole family and everyone you know they will have to stay in the lobby.
